5 Sales Tasks You Can Automate with Make.com

Every sales team repeats the same small tasks dozens of times a week: copying a lead from a form into the CRM, sending the first reply, reminding a prospect about a meeting, chasing an unpaid invoice. None of these tasks is hard. Together, they eat the hours your team should spend talking to customers — and when someone forgets one, a sale slips away.

Make.com is a visual automation platform that connects the tools you already use and moves data between them on its own. Here are five sales tasks most businesses can hand over to it, and what each one needs.

1. Send every new lead to your CRM instantly

Leads arrive from many places: the contact form on your website, Facebook and Instagram lead ads, WhatsApp, a booking calendar, even a spreadsheet a partner shares with you. A Make.com scenario can watch each source and create the contact in your CRM the moment it appears — with the name, phone, email, the source and the message.

What you need: access to each lead source and a CRM such as GoHighLevel. What you gain: one list of every lead, with nothing typed by hand.

2. Reply to the lead in seconds

Once the lead is in the CRM, the same flow can send the first message right away — a WhatsApp, SMS or email that thanks them, confirms what they asked for and offers a link to book a call. If you use an AI agent, the conversation can continue on its own until a person needs to step in.

What you need: approved message templates and, for WhatsApp, a WhatsApp Business number.

3. Book the meeting and send the reminders

When a prospect books a time in your calendar, Make.com can update the opportunity in your sales pipeline, alert the right salesperson and schedule reminders before the meeting. If the prospect does not book, the system can follow up after a set number of days instead of waiting for someone to remember.

What you need: an online calendar connected to your CRM and a clear rule for when to follow up.

4. Send proposals and payment links

When an opportunity reaches the proposal stage, an automation can fill in a proposal template with the client’s details, send it for signature and, once signed, send the payment link — for example a Stripe link for a monthly plan. When the payment arrives, the client record is updated and onboarding starts.

What you need: a proposal template, a signature tool and your payment links.

5. Follow up on unpaid invoices and renewals

Collections are the task nobody likes to do. Make.com can watch your invoices or subscriptions and send polite reminders before and after the due date, notify your team when a payment fails, and flag clients whose renewal is coming up so someone can call them.

What you need: your billing tool (Stripe, QuickBooks or similar) and the reminder messages you approve.

Where to start

You don’t need to automate everything at once. Start with the task that costs your team the most time or the most lost sales — usually the first two: getting every lead into the CRM and answering it fast. Then add the next step each month.

At CanalMarket Digital we use the same systems to run CanalMarket Group’s own companies in Panama and Dubai. We work in four steps — Audit your sales flow, Build the automations, Launch them on your accounts, and Optimize month by month — and your CRM, accounts and data always stay in your name.

Make.com automations, the GoHighLevel CRM and AI agents are part of our AI Automation packages, billed monthly — cancel anytime. You can also read how AI agents answer your WhatsApp leads 24/7.
